Dr Surabhi Bhatia

Dr Surabhi Bhatia, NHMRC-ARC Research Fellow, The University of Sydney.

Surabhi is currently an NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Fellow at University of Sydney, Brain and Mind Centre. Prior to that, she has worked as a Research Officer at Neuroscience Research Australia, Sydney. Surabhi completed her PhD in 2013 at University of New South Wales, Sydney. She has over 10 years of research experience including experience in research facilities in India. She has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at various national and international conferences. Currently, her research focuses on understanding the role of apolipoprotein D in frontotemporal dementia. Surabhi is interested in investigating the changes in lipid metabolic pathways in frontotemporal dementia.
