Dr Ole Tietz

Dr Ole Tietz, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Macquarie University.

Ole is a Research Fellow at the Dementia Research Centre of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. Ole graduated from Imperial College London, UK, and completed his PhD at the University of Alberta, Canada, in 2015. His thesis dealt with the imaging of inflammation using radiotracers directed against cyclooxygenase-2 and was supervised by Prof. Frank Wuest. This was followed by post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Cambridge, where he developed imaging agents for early markers of neurodegeneration, and the University of Oxford, where he worked on technologies for transporting antibodies into cells. Ole is a member of the drug development group and works on developing antibodies for the treatment of dementia.
