Dr Liming Hou

Dr Liming Hou, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Macquarie University.

Liming studied medicine in China and completed her Ph.D. in the area of lipoprotein metabolism and diabetes at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2017. Liming then joined the Dementia Research Unit at UNSW as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof Lars Ittner. In 2018, Liming relocated to Macquarie University with Professor Lars Ittner as part of the new Dementia Research Centre. Liming currently focuses on developing novel drug treatments for neurodegenerative diseases through the testing of compounds that may lead to better patient outcomes.
