Dr Guinevere Lourenco Dale

Dr Guinevere Lourenco Dale, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, The University of Sydney.

Guinevere completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences majoring in Biotechnology, and her Master’s degree in Biosciences and Biotechnology majoring in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of the North of Rio de Janeiro State (Brazil). Later, she obtained a PhD degree in Anatomy with focus in Neuroscience from the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney, Australia). Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Sydney, Australia, using a combination of molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunohistochemistry techniques to investigate the mechanisms underlying the changes observed in the brain of patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
