Dr Eli Muller

Dr Eli Muller, Postdoctoral Researcher, The University of Sydney.

Eli is a physicist and neuroscientist with a keen interest in biological systems. He has developed neural field models of the corticothalamic-basal ganglia system to explore the mechanisms underlying pathological brain activity in Parkinson's disease and generalized epilepsies, and a biophysical theory of deep brain electrical stimulation treatments. His research interests include developing and testing new hypotheses of brain structure and function by integrating biophysical models with experimental data.
