Dr Carol Au

Dr Carol Au, Staff Scientist, Macquarie University.

Carol is a staff scientist in the Dementia Research Centre at Macquarie University. She majored in molecular biology and genetics, and completed her PhD at the University of Sydney/Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Her current research focuses on the use of tissue culture model systems to decipher the molecular pathomechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and to test new drug treatments.
