Dr Ann-Na Cho

Dr Ann-na Cho, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Macquarie University.

Ann-Na is currently working as Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Dementia Research Centre in the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine at Macquarie University. She completed her Ph.D. at Yonsei University (Republic of Korea) in 2020. Her thesis title was Development of in vitro model systems to recapitulate human brain development. This was followed by Postdoctoral fellowships at Yonsei university. After moving to Australia in 2020, at the University of Sydney, she focused on investigating hydrogel as physical cue for focal adhesion modulation of pluripotent stem cell. After joining the Dementia Research Centre in 2021, she focused on establishing pluripotent stem cell and generating an organoid model for neurodegenerative disease.
