Professor Glenda Halliday - awarded the 2021 Robert A. Pritzker Prize.

Congratulations to Professor Glenda Halliday, who is the 2021 recipient for the Robert A. Pritzker Prize for Leadership in Parkinson’s Research.

The Robert A. Pritzker Prize for Leadership in Parkinson's Research recognizes scientists who have made it their life's work to speed better treatments for Parkinson's patients. Glenda received the prize based on her research contributions to the understanding of Parkinson’s disease and in particular the neuropathological basis for the disease. Her research has been critical for the progress made into understanding this disease

“The Robert A. Pritzker Prize award is truly an honor of my career. My hope is that my research will help scientists better understand this disease and lead to new ways to stop its course. I’m also very proud to be recognized for mentorship in training the next generation; we need many smart minds working together toward cures and better treatments” said Professor Halliday.
